OCEANFRONT MANSION IS SETTING FOR
AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY FUNDRAISER

Boca Raton, FL. — A lavish oceanfront estate will be the setting for “Black Pearls and White Ice,” a cocktail party and silent auction to benefit the American Cancer Society. Breathtaking jewels, live music and fabulous food will combine to create a never-to-be-forgotten evening on Saturday, May 12 from 7 – 11 p.m. at 4221 South Ocean Boulevard in Highland Beach. Attendance is limited to 150 guests, and tickets are $125 each.

“This one-of-a-kind beach house is an ideal setting for the party,” said Robb & Stucky Interior Designer Sonia Longchamp, ASID, who designed the interiors of the home. “It has the kind of flowing spaces and casual elegance that are perfect for entertaining. It’s a much more wonderful place for a gala than a hotel ballroom would be. Just being able to experience this magnificent residence as well as incredible oceanfront view will make the event all the more spectacular.”

Platinum sponsors for the evening are Washington Mutual and Silver Companies. Jewelry, vacation getaways, artwork and other items valued at more than $1,000 each will be displayed during the premium silent auction throughout the home. The featured event item, a Tahitian pearl necklace with diamonds valued at $8,000, will be offered by Iridesse Pearls in the exclusive VIP Lounge.

Guest of honor will be car racing legend and cancer survivor Buzz Marcus.

“Our goal is to raise $50,000 to fund cancer research, education, advocacy and services with this wonderful party,” said event chairman Salvatore Conza of Mutual of America.

Event sponsors include: Highland Beach LLC., Iridesse Pearls, Robb & Stucky Interiors, The Adler Network, The Melting Pot, Colombo’s Market, VIP Catering, Silver Companies, Greenburg & Traurig, Boca Raton Community Hospital, Springfield Investments, LLC., Falcone Group, PIP Printing, Boca Radiology, Eagle Distributing, Marcus W. Corwin, P.A., Advanced Urology of South Florida, Dr. and Mrs. Charles Tate, City National and Chocolate Fountains of Hope. Sponsorships are still available.
